Fix JavaScript Errors
JavaScript is a scripting language highly associated with web pages. It was initially developed by Netscape and was first launched with the Netscape browser version 2.0B3 (released in 1995).
The main purpose of the JavaScript language, at least as far as web pages are concerned, is to make an HTML page more interactive, enabling the following (amongst others):
- animated images
- drop-down menus
- pop-up windows
- enable an image to change when you roll your mouse over it
- validate web form input
JavaScript errors often occur when there is a problem with the way the web page was coded. For instance, incorrect coding regarding validation in web forms may result in a JavaScript error. (By the way, don´t confuse JavaScript errors with a Java error as this scripting language has nothing to do with the Java programming language.)
